I can’t do this anymore. I’m tired of faking. Pretending I’m alright, faking the smiles. I’m tired of being played. Over and over you draw me in. You play me like a deck of cards in your hands. They ask if I’m alright, what am I suppose to say? I just say fine, with another forced smile, then I disappear into my thoughts and swallow the tears.
